If you haven’t placed a green coffee order with OPTCO, the easiest way to get started is by giving us a call and talking to any of our sales people to walk you through our general protocol for orders, coffee pricing, and current availability. If you prefer email communication, please send a message to either of our account managers, Brian or Mike, listed on our staff page.
Available Coffee: What the industry refers to as “spot” coffee. We update our offering sheet on our website every two weeks (see the ‘our beans’ tab) and send it by email just about every week. The offering sheet is organized by country, coffee and the available bags in each warehouse, or soon to arrive.
Pricing: Please call or email for current prices on all coffees listed.
Coffee Profiles: Our cupping team does a full evaluation on each and every coffee several times to ensure quality and consistency. If you are looking for a specific profile, or wonder how a particular origin cups out, just ask and we’ll gladly share our notes.
Samples: We can offer 8oz samples of most of our coffees but prefer that requests be kept to just 3 origins. We don’t offer custom roasted samples at this time.
Purchasing: Our usual billing terms are net 30 days cash. However, if we are conducting business for the first time we request that you prepay the order. We can forward you a credit application for review and then possibly offer terms.Freight: We prefer customers to arrange their own freight from the warehouse to their facility. That being said, OPTCO has relationships with freight brokers that can quote “best freight rates” throughout North America.
